October Technique- Four Feathers Card

The first Thursday of the Month is always Technique Class at the Power House Studio.  This month we did an Embossing Resist Deconstructed.  We started with a Whisper White panel embossed the Feathers in Clear with Versamark and then sponged on Blushing Bride Ink.  We then sponged Rich Razzelberry over the Feathers to highlight then and used the random speckles from the Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Set in Black Berry Bliss Ink.  Then we whipped off any excess ink from the Feathers with a paper towel and the last step was to drop a few drops of water from an Aqua Painter on to make water blotches.   We finished off the Card with a Feather that was inked in Rich Razzelberry and Rock-and-Rolled in Black Berry Bliss and one cut from Glimmer Paper.   This Blushing Bride Cotten Ribbon is so sweet it is the just right contrast to our Grunge Card.
